An accomplished thespian, she has been performing professionally for the last 27 years. The first time she appeared on the stage as an actor in a 1990 production of The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) Off-Broadway. The following year, she was chosen for her first TV role in The Perfect Tribute. Her biggest break in her career came about in 1992 when she acted as a support role in the movie Basic Instinct. Then, in The Firm, she played the leading female character for the very first time. The film was filmed with Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, her work included working alongside top Hollywood stars such as Gwyneth as in Sliding doors, Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews Relative Values.
