Molly Tarlov

Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011 and is well known for her portrayal of Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward - a teen drama comedy TV show. Tarlov was the smallest of two daughters, was raised and born to Manhattan, New York. Tarlov began her professional career when she was 10 years old as Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was well-loved by seven grade students. The summer she studied at NYU Tisch as well as at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. The actress trained in a variety of different styles of acting, and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company was another place she studied. The writer also was incorporated in her acting in the LAByrinth Theatre master class. Molly changed her jacket for a black pair of sunglasses prior to heading off towards Los Angeles. She was not long before she was offered a three-word character on iCarly and was able to draw the interest by her parents. Since then, she's made many television appearances. One of the most notable is the creation of her character for Winnie Woodman's and Savannah Dooley's ABC Family series Huge. Molly believes she's an athlete, even though she's actually not. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
